It's difficult for Australia to achieve unprecedented feats.

The highest peaks have been successfully scaled.

We're talking about the squad that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, plus an additional six T20 titles, and previously enjoyed nearly four years unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, those for the achievement hunters, are the only things left for a squad that has achieved everything.

The fact it required up to Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase over 300, regaining their record for the biggest in the women's 50-over format, is, honestly, a testament to the pitchers that have represented Australia over five decades.

It is hard for their hitters to maintain a record if never given the possibility.

Many contend the reasoning behind final game tension. Others can counter with the difficulty that comes when pursuing an unprecedented total and an enthusiastic Indian fanbase of 20,000.

What is certain is this century was far harder to see coming.

The Christchurch destruction in 2022 happened while she topped the run-scoring charts, but this innings was preceded by six games in India since the start of last month in which she had not exceeded 30 runs.

"If you've observed me in practice sessions, it has been a frustrating experience because I feel like I lacked timing at all," commented Healy.

"A chance to play and engage in competition with her and merely enjoy the moment that way, somewhat inspired me," said Healy.

She got to fifty in 35 balls - her swiftest at a World Cup - and her ton in 84 deliveries while she attacked short-pitched balls, hitting 21 fours and three big hits.

When she was dismissed the team needed 66 additional runs at a run-a-ball - an achievable target now requiring a leisurely stroll.

"Pursuing 330 is unfamiliar ground so I'm happy we have the belief to accomplish that now," added Healy.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to do it another time but, if necessary, we know we can succeed."

That comment will be the final thing competing nations at this tournament should hear.
